- Film Australia’s series from Australian Biography Online
An interview between the artist and Robin Hughes of Film Australia conducted in September 1997, some five months after Elizabeth Durack revealed in Art Monthly Australia she had been painting as and for Eddie Burrup and had entered artworks in Aboriginal exhibitions. The spin in the media release announcing the revelation guaranteed an outraged response among most of Australia’s arts community. The 25 minute interview is impartial and insightful. The Full Interview contains minor typos and inaccuracies. The attached online ‘Study Guide’ is biased and unreliable.
